Founded in Paris in 1880 by Jen-Henri Jansen, a Dutch business man with exceptional taste, Jansen became one of the most famous interior design firms of the century counting the Belgium Royal family, the Shah and Empress of Iran, Jayne Wrightsman, Elsie de Wolfe, Jackie Kennedy, Coco Chanel, and Helena Rubenstein as clients.
